Introduction of the Laboratory
State Key Laboratory of Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration (hereinafter referred to as the Laboratory) was approved by the relevant state ministries and commissions, and is led by Shenzhen University, with the participation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and ZTE Corporation. Focusing on the key scientific and technological issues of Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration, the laboratory carries out systematic and in-depth original and forward-looking basic research and core technology research, understands the basic principles, masters the theoretical methodology and core technology, forms the Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration capabilities, platforms and standards, and develops a series of Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration circuits systems for the country's major needs. Laboratory research will promote the development of integrated circuits and information systems integration technology to achieve rapid progress from integrated circuits to integrated systems of change and leap.
The director of the lab, Mao Junfa, is an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, an IEEE Fellow, and the chairman of the Microwave Division of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. Laboratory personnel presided over more than 40 important scientific and technological projects in related fields, such as the National Natural Fund Basic Science Centre Project and Innovation Group Project, the National Key R&D Program Project, the National 973 Program Project, etc. The research results have won one-second prize of the National Natural Science Award, two-second prizes in the National Award for Technological Inventions, one second prize in the National Science and Technology Advancement Prize, and one top ten scientific and technological advances of China's institutions of higher learning.

Research Direction and Content
1. Coupled multiphysics field theory and design methodology
Circuit modeling and simulation, device-level fusion design, circuit-level multi-functional, multi-physics automation, intelligent co-design, thermal design and management, 3D heterogeneous integration IC system EDA software, millimeter-wave / THz chip and system design.
2. RF Heterogeneous Integration Processes
High-end advanced electronic packaging process, chiplet process, heterogeneous interface generation, regulation and fusion mechanism, heterogeneous epitaxial growth, heterogeneous bonding, high-density vertical interconnect and other process design and optimisation control, PDK construction.
3. Measurability and Test Characterisation
Testability and automated test characterisation of RF heterogeneous integrated circuits, including multi-dimensional reconstruction algorithms and test point design of test data, automated test characterisation of devices, circuits and systems.
4. RF Heterogeneous Integrated Circuit Development and Application
Focusing on 6G mobile communications, high-performance computing, radar detection, intelligent unmanned systems, intelligent medical care and other fields, the development of a series of RF heterogeneous integrated circuit systems and promote the application.

1. Leading Talents (Chair Professor, Distinguished Professor)
(1) Generally not more than 55 years old;
(2) Obtain a doctoral degree from a high-level university or research institution in or outside the country (territory), and have reached the level of chair professor/special professor of a high-level university in or outside the country (territory).
2. Pre-appointment-Long-term Teachers (Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors)
(1) The age of assistant professors generally does not exceed 35 years old, and that of associate professors and above generally does not exceed 45 years old;
(2) They have obtained doctoral degrees from high-level universities or research institutes in or outside China, have strong scientific research ability, innovative consciousness, cooperative spirit and development potential, and are capable of teaching undergraduate courses;
(3) Assistant professors have achieved better academic results and become prominent in relevant academic fields. Those who have reached the level of associate professor in high-level universities in and outside the country (territory), achieved academic achievements recognised by peers in and outside the country (territory), and have considerable academic influence can directly apply for pre-appointment to the position of associate professor. Those who are particularly outstanding can directly apply for the position of Professor or Distinguished Professor.
3. Full-time researchers (researchers, associate researchers, research assistants)
(1) Associate researchers are generally no more than 35 years old, and researchers are generally no more than 40 years old;
(2) Obtain a doctoral degree from a high-level university or research institution in or outside the country (territory), with strong scientific research ability, sense of innovation, spirit of cooperation and development potential.
4. Engineers and technicians (senior engineers, engineers, experimenters)
(1) Master degree or above in science and engineering;
2) 2 years or more working experience in related fields is preferred.
5. Post-doctoral
1) Below 35 years old, no more than 3 years after obtaining a doctoral degree;
2) with a study background in microelectronics, electronic science and technology, physics, chemistry, mechanics, materials science and engineering, and intelligent science.

(2) Talent policy: Eligible candidates are entitled to the relevant special appointment position incentives (RMB 240,000-360,000/year, one appointment for three years, and up to three appointments for eligible candidates, which are tax-deductible).
(3) Team support: Eligible persons will be supported to form innovative scientific research teams with full-time researchers, and postgraduate and postdoctoral recruitment programmes will be inclined. Competitive start-up funds for scientific research will be provided.
3. Full-time Researchers
(1) Salary and Remuneration: Internationally competitive annual salary, as well as incentives for scientific research results and research performance.
(2) Career development: Those who have good performance and outstanding scientific research results during the school period can be recruited as pre-appointed or permanent teachers under the "Li-Yuan Elite Programme".

5. Postdoctoral Fellows
(1) Salary and Remuneration: Internationally competitive annual salary; Shenzhen will provide 300,000 RMB subsidy to postdoctoral fellows for scientific research or pre-start-up expenses.
