The National Key Laboratory of RF Heterogeneous Heterostructure Integration (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) focuses on the key and fundamental scientific and technological issues of heterogeneous heterostructure integration of RF circuit systems, carries out systematic and in-depth original, prospective and cross-cutting applied basic research and core technology research from the aspects of principles, theories, methodologies, processes, core technologies and practical applications, and independently researches and develops the EDA methodology and tools of RF heterogeneous integrated circuits, wafer-level integration key process methodology system, form international leading heterogeneous heterostructure integration capabilities and platforms, and develop RF heterogeneous heterostructure integrated circuit systems to meet the major needs of the country such as wireless communications, radar detection, and intelligent medical care. The related research results are expected to promote the development of China's IC technology industry and rapid progress of information system integration technology, and lead the international microelectronics field from integrated circuits to integrated systems change across.

The Laboratory Shanghai Jiao Tong University team currently has 27 researchers (including 12 selected by the national talent program), 4 other personnel. In the past five years, the team has undertaken dozens of key research projects, such as key R&D projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, basic science centers of the National Foundation of China, major projects, sub-projects of national scientific and technological major projects, the National Defense Excellence Youth Project, key projects of the JWKJW Innovation Special Zone, etc. The team has been awarded the second prize of the National Science and Technology Award for three items, the team has published a series of high-level papers in international authoritative journals in this field, such as Nature Electronics, Journal of Solid-State Circuits, and so on.
