On 30th May 2023, in order to implement the requirements of the Notice on Public Opening Activities of National Key Laboratories during the National Science and Technology Activity Week 2023 jointly issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Central Propaganda Department (CPC) and the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), State Key Laboratory of Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration (hereinafter referred to as the Laboratory) organised an open day for the general public. With the theme of "Love Science and Technology", the event attracted a large number of visitors who are passionate about science and technology. This activity aims to show the latest scientific and technological achievements to the public and promote the integration of scientific and technological innovation and social development.

On the day of the Laboratory's Open Day, the Laboratory's research capabilities in Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration systems, device processes and major applications were demonstrated to the public. Laboratory experts systematically introduced the importance of integrated circuits, as well as the future development direction and application prospects of the semiconductor industry.

Accompanied by the laboratory instructors, visitors were given a tour of the state-of-the-art equipment in the laboratory and gained insights into the laboratory's research work and its concrete examples in solving real-life problems. The Public Open Day also provided a series of colourful scientific demonstrations and interactive sessions. Visitors put on clean suits and entered the clean room, and under the guidance of teachers, they had a close look at large-scale equipment such as electron beam lithography, high-resolution electron beam imaging exposure machine, full-spectrum multifunctional micro-nano imager, etc., and enjoyed the fun of scientific exploration. Teachers from the lab patiently answered visitors' questions and shared their research experiences and fascinating scientific discoveries. Such interactive exchanges enabled the visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the process and significance of scientific research, and stimulated their interest and enthusiasm for science.
